The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing existing solutions, and implementing best practices in software development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality code, ensuring adherence to security policies, and optimizing performance across applications.
Technical Requirements
Required Skills
- • Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Java 11
- • Experience managing data using Google Big Table and Oracle Databases
- • Experience integrating Apache Kafka with Schema Registry
- • Experience implementing AVRO schemas
- • Experience developing User Interfaces using ReactJS, Angular, HTML and CSS
- • Experience utilizing Spring Boot for building APIs
- • Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker
- • Experience orchestrating microservices using Kubernetes
- • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Preferred Skills
- • Coding in Python
- • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and Microsoft Azure
Experience Level
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer-related fields with at least 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area
Responsibilities
- • Provide expert advice and guidance in the application of information and best practices
- • Prepare requirement traceability matrix and maintain traceability between business and functional requirements
- • Create/configure minimalistic code for entire components/applications
- • Assist in the selection of appropriate languages and development standards
- • Build scripts for automation of routine tasks in CI/CD
- • Identify and create test cases for components/modules and execute testing
- • Troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks
- • Monitor and evaluate application performance by tracking appropriate metrics
