Kizen is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead teams in building user-facing features and scaling the Kizen platform. This role emphasizes user outcomes and the rapid delivery of reliable, scalable systems, contributing to the AI movement aimed at enhancing human experiences. The candidate will collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering, CTO, and a team of engineers to drive innovation and excellence.

Technical Requirements

Responsibilities

• • Ensure smooth development by keeping developers enabled, informed, and unblocked
• • Build and maintain healthy and supportive relationships with team members while driving excellence
• • Communicate deliverables and delivery timeline changes with key stakeholders
• • Troubleshoot technical issues and create resolution plans
• • Mentor engineers to strengthen skills and ensure solutions are implemented as architected
• • Evaluate and recommend process modifications
• • Encourage full participation in development processes
• • Lead scrums and other agile ceremonies
• • Partner with QA manager on release shepherding
• • Help field support escalations and triage errors
• • Conduct UAT on technical features to ensure stakeholder needs are met
