Egnyte is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for its Hybrid-Cloud Software Engineering team in Mountain View, CA. The team focuses on building software that empowers enterprise customers' transition to the cloud while ensuring data synchronization between on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale distributed systems and data storage management, and will work collaboratively in a global team environment.
Technical Requirements
Required Skills
- • C programming
- • Data structures and algorithms
- • Design and development of scalable enterprise-level software
Preferred Skills

- • Cloud storage experience
- • SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience Level
3+ years of industry experience; 2+ years of hands-on experience with C programming
Responsibilities
- • Design and implement hybrid-cloud file sharing solutions
- • Develop features and performance improvements using cloud caching technologies
- • Own end-to-end feature development including testing and deployment
- • Leverage big data analytics to inform product design and usage
- • Perform root-cause analysis of complex problems
- • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
