Senior Security Engineer – Cloud & Platform Security

Job Overview

CaptivateIQ is seeking a Senior Security Engineer focused on Cloud & Platform Security to secure and enhance the foundation of their SaaS platform. This role involves designing and implementing scalable security controls across cloud infrastructure and managing security practices in a cloud-native environment. The engineer will collaborate with SRE teams and ensure compliance readiness while leading incident responses for security events.

Technical Requirements

Responsibilities

• • Design and enforce security baselines for AWS services and network segmentation.
• • Embed automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• • Develop and tune detection logic for threats in cloud infrastructure.
• • Implement least privilege and zero-trust principles for access governance.
• • Own vulnerability identification and remediation for infrastructure components.
• • Lead incident response for cloud/infrastructure security events.
• • Contribute to security audits and control validation.
